Why Robotics
Teamwork, Education, and Fun

Mathobotix is an innovative and creative Integrated Learning Environment (ILE) designed to let students of all ages discover and explore science and technology on their own terms and in an energetic environment.

Based on National Science Foundation (NSF) Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM), and Mathobotix's Integrated Curriculum. We help kids participate in Lego and VEX Robotics Competitions and FIRST Tech Challenge for high-school students, FIRST LEGO© league for children ages 9-14, and Junior FIRST LEGO© League for ages 6-9 years old. FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) is a unique varsity sport of the mind designed to help high-school-aged young people discover how interesting and rewarding the life of engineers and researchers can be.

Highlights:

  • Educational Robotics Program (Participation in robotics competition is encouraged to promote academic competitive skills)

  • 1,600 square feet state-of-the-art Integrated Learning Environment (ILE) located in Irvine, CA.

  • Unique learning space with work benches, networked computer labs, and a display area – Wall of Knowledge.

  • Hands-on learning with programs that have real-world applications.

  • Kids organized into age appropriate groups will learn the basics of robotics and engineering by exploring simple machines using LEGO® and VEX robotic components. They’ll have fun working in teams while participating in hands-on activities.

  • Integrated Curriculum methods and materials help build math, robotics, computers, writing, communication and study skills.

  • Based on 4Rs (Reading, wRiting, aRithmetic and Robotics) and 5Cs (Critical thinking, Creative problem-solving, Communication, Collaboration and Cross-cultural relationship building)

  • Programs and Methods that meet the National Science and Technology Frameworks.
