MCSTEM100: Robot Cadets; MCSTEM200: Roboteer; MCSTEM300: Transformer I
(Exploring Science, Technology,Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) via LEGO© MINDSTORMS projects):
Students will have fun while learning basic structures and sub-systems such as motion, control, logic, sensors, power, and equipment used in robotics by applying the fundamentals of math and science concepts. Depending on their level they will build their robots and program them using Lego© NXT software. The courses take them through simple to complex age and grade appropriate projects. They learn while having fun! Sample projects include Drag Race, Capture-the-flag, and Sumo. Team competitions and project presentations conclude course work.

Course Duration: Year-Round. Classes meet once a week for 2 Hours.
